About Us

Welcome to 144000.com, a website dedicated to understanding and spreading the profound truths encapsulated in the prophecy of the 144,000 mentioned in the Book of Revelation. Our mission is to educate, inspire, and prepare believers for the soon return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The people behind 144000.com are dedicated Protestant reformers striving to be among the 144,000 mentioned in the Book of Revelation. Their mission is fueled by a deep desire to see their loved ones raised in the special resurrection at the voice of God, receiving the covenant of peace and the revelation of the day and hour of Jesus' soon coming. They are committed to studying and sharing the truths upheld by the early Adventist pioneers, emphasizing the importance of spiritual preparation for Christ’s imminent return.

In their efforts to spread these vital messages worldwide, they are actively working to translate these teachings into all languages and create matching audio recordings for "The Great Controversy" and many other original pioneer books that have long been hidden. They welcome contributions to content, suggestions, and would love your input, creating a collaborative and inclusive platform for sharing and spreading these truths. Through their work, they seek to inspire others to join them in this sacred journey of faith and readiness for the final events of earth’s history.

Who Are the 144,000?

The 144,000, first mentioned in Revelation 7:4, are described as those who are 7th day Sabbath Sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel. This number is literal, representing a specific group of individuals who are faithful to all of God's commandments, including the fourth commandment, and keep the faith of Jesus. These individuals are set apart for a unique purpose and mission during the end times (Revelation 7:4-8).

The Sealing of the 144,000

The sealing of the 144,000 began in October 23, 1844, marking the start of the restoration of the 7th day Sealing Sabbath, a significant period in Adventist eschatology known as the investigative judgment, also known as the selection process of the Bride of Christ, the 144,000. This process, similar to how Queen Esther was chosen, continues until the number is made up, consisting of those who keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus, particularly observing the seventh-day Sabbath. Once this literal number is completed, Jesus will stand up and declare, "It is finished," signaling the start of the seven last plagues and the time of trouble such as never has been seen on the earth (Daniel 12:1, Revelation 16).

Biblical Promises

In the context of biblical prophecy, the 144,000 are seen as spiritual leaders who will reign with Christ for a thousand years, starting from His second coming. Revelation 20:6 states, "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years" (KJV).

Ellen G. White's Insights

Ellen G. White provides profound insights into the significance of the 144,000. She describes them as those who have developed characters that reflect the image of Christ fully, prepared to stand through the time of trouble. They are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes, symbolizing unwavering faithfulness and purity. She emphasizes the importance of adhering to God's commandments and the faith of Jesus to be part of this special group (The Great Controversy, p. 648). In her writings, she mentions that those who have died in faith, keeping the Sabbath, will be resurrected glorified to hear the covenant of peace (which happens about two weeks before Christ's 2nd Coming) that God will make with His people (Early Writings, p. 285).

Both the Beast and the Image of the Beast
You can find this passage in Early Writings, Page 277 under the chapter titled "The Loud Cry."

"In amazement they hear the testimony that Babylon is the church, fallen because of her errors and sins, because of her rejection of the truth sent to her from heaven. The people go to their former teachers with the eager inquiry, Are these things so? The ministers present fables, prophesy smooth things, to soothe their fears and quiet the awakened conscience. But since many refuse to be satisfied with the mere authority of men and demand a plain "Thus saith the Lord," the popular ministry, like the Pharisees of old, filled with anger as their authority is questioned, denounce the message as of Satan and stir up the sin-loving multitudes to revile and persecute those who proclaim it. As the controversy extends into new fields and the minds of the people are called to God's downtrodden law, Satan is astir. The power attending the message only maddens those who oppose it. The clergy put forth almost superhuman efforts to shut away the light lest it should shine upon their flocks. By every means at their command they endeavor to suppress the discussion of these vital questions. The church appeals to the strong arm of civil power, and in this work, papists and Protestants unite. As the movement for Sunday enforcement becomes more bold and decided, the law will be invoked against commandment keepers. They will be threatened with fines and imprisonment, and some will be offered positions of influence and other rewards and advantages as inducements to renounce their faith. But their steadfast answer is "Show us from the word of God our error"—the same plea that was made by Luther under similar circumstances. Those who are arraigned before the courts make a strong vindication of the truth, and some who hear them are led to take their stand to keep all the commandments of God. Thus light will be brought before thousands who otherwise would know nothing of these truths."
